Election Notification
Notification is hereby given for the election for the following posts in the IOS.
- President elect (2011-2012)
- Vice President ( 2011-2012)
- IOS Times Editor ( 2011-2013)
- 24 EC members (2011-2012
The nomination forms for all the posts are available on the official web site at www.iosweb.net /member/forms. Duly completed nomination form should reach the Hon. Secretary latest by 05.00 pm, 16th August 2011 by Speed post / Registered post with acknowledgment due only. Envelope should be super scribed as “IOS ANNUAL ELECTIONS”. Nominations in the prescribed format only will be accepted and all information needed should be duly filled. The official list will be put up in the official website within two days. Last date for withdrawal of nominations will be 05.00 pm, 28th August -2011. AGM (Conference Attendance Certificate) & EC attendance Certificates should be attached with the form for validity. (This is for the ease of verification)
Note
- Each candidate is eligible to apply only for one post.
- The proposer or Seconder cannot be a student member.
- Floor nominations will be called for only for the posts that have not received any valid nominations
