	As the first specialty society in India, the Indian Orthodontic Society, since its inception in the year 1965, 5th October as come a long way and to date boasts of thousand plus members, close knit, well focused and well equipped association which is at on par with any of their international counter parts.
	Every aspect of the IOS is a glory to behold because of a certain amount of commitment and dedication from its founder members that today we sit in the lap of luxury.
	Transition that has taken place from its inception is immense, unbelievable and proves that change is the only constant. We proudly remember the elders of our profession who has toiled, researched and put forward their ideas and contributions for the betterment of this profession.
	To this day, the IOS constantly tries to reinvent itself in order to bring itself to the highest standards of perfection. Such an accomplishment lies in the hands of the younger dynamic generation
	IOS started its own library and a first museum of its kind in India. Presently the museum is in Bapuji Dental College & Hospital, Davangere. The Space for the same and Furnishings Has Been Provided by BEA free of cost
	I once again call upon each and every one of you to make the most of this exhilarating experience so that you go back with wonderful memories of this wonderful museum.
